Can a Small Company, Onlive, Outdo Sony?
If you have not yet heard of the Internet Video Game console called Onlive, it is likely you will be hearing quite a bit about them over the next 6-24 months depending on their release date. The system is one which allows members to play games online without the need for a console. Already Onlive forums are buzzing about the prospect of this thing. The question is, can they release a product before Sony or Microsoft beat them to the punch, and will the final product be powerful enough to stream games that most people thought could never be streamed at current broadband rates?
