Everyone Wants More Golf Swing Distance, Right?
Getting more distance off the tee or fairway is typically preferred by most golfers. After all, more is better, right?
But sometimes we out smart ourselves in trying to generate more golf swing distance with some of the gadgets or techiques we employ.
Take the oversized driver for instance. The large head creates a much bigger area to impact the ball more consistenly. But the problem with using a larger head is that there needs to be an adjustment with tee position. With a conventional driver, you are supposed to place the ball on the tee one half golf ball above the club. This needs to be done with the larger head driver as well.
