All the Difference

My child tried to make everything a sight word. He did not want to sound anything out and he had to, he just refused to do it. He said he didn’t want to learn how to read, he wanted me to read for him forever. I had no idea how to interest a 6 year old in reading. I thought it was something that would come naturally, but I was wrong. The teacher suggested a phonics program to me that could be done in just minutes a day at home on the computer. This program made all the difference in the world. Now my son reads on his own and likes it.
