Infected Nose Rings Are No Joke

If you have an infected nose ring it is important to leave it where it is, because taking it out can only make things worse. The simplest thing to do is to clean the area with iodine or an iodine based antiseptic such as Bactine. This will kill the bacteria causing the infection without irritating the nose.  If your infected nose ring is serious with green or yellow puss then it is vital to see your doctor for an antibiotic. Remember no matter what you type of infection you have leave your ring in so it does not get worse.
