Wireless Data Acquisition for Industrial Data

Monitoring sensors for temperature or other information can be very important for many industrial sites. However, industrial sites tend to be spread out or have other hurdles and wired installations can be clumsy and expensive. This is where wireless data acquisition can greatly reduce the complexity to sample important data over the site. Going wireless has many other benefits, such as not having a wired mess, not having to worry about coming across buried wires, and also performance. Long wires have a limit to data throughput, but going wireless can greatly improve the amount of data you can sample.

There are a lot of modules that can be used to transition from wired installations to wireless. One module I highly recommend is DataBridge from Starman Electric. These modules will not only provide the benefit of going wireless, but they can be treated like a wire, so the developer doesn’t need to learn about the complexities of the wireless world.
