Tough Love
At thirty years old my youngest son is paying for mistakes he made over ten years ago. Right out of high school he went out and got a full-time job. Along with this job came the credit cards. Those credit cards gave him access to, what he thought, was an endless supply of plastic money. After he got himself into almsot $20,000 worth of debt. His father and I stepped in and ripped up all of his cards. He was so made at us at the time. Now, every time he has to apply for Bad Credit Car Loans, he wishes we would have done it sooner.
